Increase teacher salaries by capping administration overhead, allowing M & O portion of tax to follow the child to the school of their parent's choice, and work with the TEA and ISDs to come up with a plan for dilution and consolidation of the 1250 ISDs which currently serve the 254 counties.
1-Fund increased border security and anti-gang measures 2-Fund addiction recovery programs 3-Improve and fund our mental health system to measure progress of programs competing for the limited funding currently available 4-Educate the general public to the distinction between hand guns, rifles, assault rifles and fully automatic weapons.

Increase penalties for election fraud, mail in ballot reform to protect against ballot harvesting and make trial court judges non-partisan races to protect the citizens against the loss of experienced and qualified judges based primarily on partisan straight ticket balloting and/or the implication that a particular party platform overrides or influences the ethical standards of judicial conduct in applying the law to the facts of the case before them.
Drawing districts based upon regional likeness, not race (i.e urban vs. rural vs. border). Committing to use more metrics to undermine the current incumbent friendly and partisan gerrymandered districts such as District 117 which is inconsistent with the spirit of the Voting Rights Act protection of ethnic minority/voter majority districts.
Improving Air quality in metro areas and continuing to protect and maximize the capacity to access and improve the quality and use of water.
