Living at Buffalo Springs Lake, I have a daily view of how the lake is developing. I have been a past Board member and served for 4 years. I have been to every board meeting I can attend and have always given opinions on how to improve the lake. I realize the lake is for the people of our County, we have a responsibility.
A Board member is responsible to his, or her, precinct they are elected from. They are responsible to do the best for their people. This means making it affordable for families to come out to the lake without hurting their pocketbook. Directors are responsible in keeping budgets down and not spending "other peoples money" without close consideration. This lake is for part time recreation for Lubbock County and directors should think of that.
