I have 24+ years of experience as a presiding judge. I also have 500+ hours from the Texas Justice Court Training Center (TJCTC) and serve as District 2 Director for the Texas JPCA. I have been an instructor for the TJCTC. I am also an Adjunct Professor for the TTUHSC School of Nursing and serve on numerous local boards.
Presiding over civil, criminal, and small claims court; serving all citizens in a neutral capacity; presiding over landlord/tenant disputes, truancy, traffic violations, peace bonds, dangerous and abused animal hearings, stolen and seized property hearings. In addition, the Justice of the Peace is also responsible for felony filing and magistration, issuing warrants, and setting bonds.
